About Us
The Gilgit Store brings authentic treasures from Gilgit-Baltistan to your doorstep. We source dry fruits, nuts, shilajit, herbs, honey, and traditional textiles directly from local farmers and artisans in the high valleys of northern Pakistan.
Our mission is to support mountain communities while delivering pure, high-quality products that celebrate the natural heritage of the Karakoram region.
Our story
Gilgit-Baltistan is home to some of the highest peaks in the world, and to valleys where apricot orchards, walnut trees, and wild herbs grow in clean mountain air and glacier-fed soil. The food and crafts that come out of these valleys are known across Pakistan, but the real thing is often hard to find in the cities.
We started The Gilgit Store to close that gap. We wanted people everywhere in the country to be able to buy genuine products from the region, and we wanted the families who grow and make them to be paid properly for their work.
What we offer
Our range is small on purpose. Each category comes from producers we know, and we would rather stock fewer products we trust than a long list we cannot vouch for.

- We describe each product plainly: where it comes from, what it is, and how to use it. If something is out of season, we say so.
